We are so very thankful that we work and reside in a county that takes care of each other. The employees for Freestone County raised money for Christmas gifts for Sgt. Preston Cordova and Alex Cordova’s twin girls to help their family out due to recent unfortunate circumstances.
You want the meaning of Christmas…It’s shown by sharing God’s love with others. THANK YOU Freestone County Employees for coming together for this family. The Cordova girls are going to have a fantastic Christmas.

It was a pleasure being a part of the graduation ceremony of the Navarro College Police Academy this evening. Even more of a pleasure being able to pin the badge on one of our Teague residents, Jimmy Pickens.
Deputy Pickens graduated with the highest GPA of his class and was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award. I think we got ourselves a good hometown guy in this one Freestone.
Welcome to the family #1215. We’re proud to have you.
