The Rodeo Arena will be a happening place during next week’s Freestone County Fair & Rodeo!
YOUTH RODEO
The Youth Rodeo in memory of Yates Manahan will be held on Wednesday, June 13th beginning at 7:00 p.m.
From Goat Ribbon Pulling for the young tikes, to Cloverleaf Barrels and Chute Dogging for the teens, this event will be non-stop action.
Come out and cheer on Freestone County youth as they rack up the points to compete for All Around Cowgirl and All Around Cowboy. Winners will receive a $500 scholarship each.
This event is sponsored by RVOS and Rollo Insurance.
Admission is $7 for Adults; $3 for Youth.
CPRA-UPRA RODEO
This year’s Professional Rodeo will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 15th & 16th beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Mutton Busting for the young ones will start at 7:30 p.m. each night, prior to the Grand Entry at 8:00 p.m.
In-County events will include the comical Wild Cow Milking, Double Mugging, Ribbon Roping, and Barrels.
Professional events are Tie Down, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Girls Breakaway, Team Roping, Open Barrels and the always-exciting, Bull Riding.
Admission is $8 for Adults, and $4 for Youth.
Stock contractor is JJ Rodeo.
