Wortham High School sent twenty-one students to Axtel on Monday, March 22, 2021, to compete in the District 2A UIL Contest.
Out of those participants, nine are advancing to Region UIL with several advancing in more than one event!
The top three medalists in each event advance to Regionals. These include Ben Havens, Michelle Misini, Dalen Coker, Ashilyn Cartwright, TJ Grela, Daniel Rosencrans,Veronica Gutierrez, Cody Jones, and JJ Rojas.
Regionals will be held in Carthage at Panola College on April 16-17.
