Three Clubs Donate Toward Fairfield FFA Landscape Project

Three local organizations joined together recently to help fund a community service project planned by members of Fairfield FFA.

They include:

Fairfield Rotary Club (at top),

Fairfield Lions Club, and

Fairfield History Club.

Accepting monetary donations were officers of the Fairfield FFA Chapter: President – Ellie Grissett, Secretary – Ryan MacMillan, Treasurer – Bailey Kay Bailey, Sentinel – Makenna Eppes, Advisor – Cole Coufal, and Historian – Conner Petty.

Funds will be used to purchase plants, that the students will use to provide landscaping services at Fairview Healthcare, located on Reunion Street in Fairfield, Texas.

Fairfield High School agriculture students will have the opportunity to practice their horticulture skills and utilize the school’s greenhouse, while beautifying the grounds for residents of the rehabilitation center.
