All the colors associated with Easter can be found on almost anything these days. They brighten up flowers, clothing, decorations, toys, stuffed animals and other things. The most common Easter colors are purple, white, gold, red, green and pink, and all have biblical significance. However, there are other colors which are important to the Easter story.

On Wednesday evening, April 5th at 6:30 pm, a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church will also share the biblical importance of the additional colors of gray, brown, yellow and blue. Verita Davis will take those in attendance through a informative journey of Jesus’ life beginning with his ministry. The obstacles He and His disciples faced, the animal sacrifices of that time, the persecution he endured and His death, burial and resurrection will also explain the importance of the eleven colors. Davis will also reflect on biblical scriptures throughout her presentation as she ties certain events to the Easter colors.

Everyone is invited to attend this special Easter program. Faith Fellowship Baptist Church is located at 626 West Main Street in Fairfield.
