“We live in the best community in the world,” declared Auctioneer Clint Minchew, at the beginning of the 2021 Freestone County Youth Livestock Show Sale. This year’s event was certainly one for the books.

Grand Champions for 2021 sold for a combined total of $41,500. That’s almost 19% higher than the previous year.

In fact, buyers shelled out a total of $562,950 for 130 animal projects exhibited by FFA and 4-H members.

In addition, an estimated $115,000 was received in Add-Ons, as of press time.

That’s an estimated total of $677,950 to Freestone County exhibitors!
