Night Bass Fishing Nets Three Winners

TWENTY-THREE FISHERMEN participated in the weekly Big Bass Tournament on Lake Fairfield July 2nd with 13 fish hitting the scales.

First place went to A.J. Settle of Bremond with a 7.39 pound bass which earned him $230.

Cantrelle Smith of Teague won second place and $138 with his 6.83 pound largemouth.

Justin Garnett of Fairfield finished in third place with a 5.95 pound lunker. His winnings were $96.

The tournament is held out of the first boat ramp on Lake Fairfield each Tuesday night.

Fishing hours are 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm with an entry fee of $20 per angler.
