A major accident happened on Sunday, August 2, 2020 around 1:00 p.m. on I-45 Northbound close to the 199-mile marker.

As per the report, a Nissan Frontier changed lanes and struck the front left of a Ford F150, the Nissan lost control and overturned.


The driver, who did not have their seatbelt on, was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Baylor, Scott and White in critical condition.

The two children passengers did not suffer from life-threatening injuries, and were transported to Freestone Medical Center for treatment.

There were no other injuries reported.
