Open enrollment is here for the 2021-2022 school year at Faith Academy of Freestone. The school is excited to be entering their 4th school year with grades Kindergarten and Third thru Ninth grade.

This spring, Faith Academy 8th graders traveled to Kentucky to explore the Ark Encounter and Creation Museums. While there, the group got to hear Ken Ham, Christian apologetics leader, speak on Genesis and creation.

According to Julie Steward, the group met Mr. Ham afterward, wearing their Faith Academy t-shirts. He asked about their school and recommended visiting the Creation Museum for background knowledge of the Ark.

Julie replied that they hoped their students were acquiring that knowledge throughout the school year. “Well that’s great,” Mr. Ham said. “MOST CHRISTIAN SCHOOLSARE ONLY CHRISTIAN BY NAME AND TEACHING SECULAR CURRICULUM.’”

“Through that conversation, I was reminded that God’s hands are on this school. He put Faith Academy in Freestone County for a specific purpose to raise Godly leaders for a world that is ever changing and morally disintegrating. We dare not waste our days educating students on anything but the truth. Our Savior. Our Foundation. Our Rock. Our solid ground. He knows what these children will need for the coming times. His hands are on them, and His Word is in them. Thank you for being a part of what the Lord is doing in our school.” said Julie Steward.

Faith Academy with have Meet the Teacher on August 26th. First day of school is September 1st.
