Larry Jason “Christian Drummer” Rice, 43, of Fairfield. passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Fairfield Christian Center. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Troy Hendrickson officiating. Interment will be at Lake Chapel Cemetery.
Jason was born June 1, 1977 in Corsicana. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, TX. Jason married his wife Chelsea on August 19, 2017 at Fairfield Christian Center in Fairfield. As a member of Fairfield Christian Center Jason served as their bus driver, drummer and Sergeant at Arms of the Fairfield Chapter of The Corp of Encouragers; a Christian Motorcycle Organization. Jason was a professional truck driver and loved his most recent job at Kent Trucking very much.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Chelsea; five children, Taylor Allen Rice and fiance Colin Haston of Rice, TX; Alan Neal, Christal Neal, Drew Koch and Ella Rice all of Fairfield; three foster children, Gabby Braley, Bentley Lamaster and Sean Lamaster, all of Fairfield; his parents, Larry and Diana Rice of Fairfield and Denise Lee Lott of Houston; one brother, Brian Haywood of New York City, NY; special daughters, Danni Gilley and Brandy Neal and his mother-in-law, Susan Steiner of Fairfield.
