Whether you are into Fall Festivals, or more spooky activities, Freestone County, Texas has LOTS for you to enjoy this week.

Here are some of the highlights:

WED., OCT 27TH
–Trunk or Treat at Fairfield Nursing & Rehab from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Put on your costume and come join the fun.
–BOO! On the Square in Fairfield from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Treats, Kids Activities, Pictures and LOTS of Fun. Call the Chamber at 903-389-5792 if you would like to set up a booth.
–Trick-or-Treating at Desserts by MommaCakes on the courthouse square from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
–Trunk-or-Treat at First United Methodist Church – Fairfield from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
–Trick-or-Treating at Freestone County Historical Museum from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
–Fall Festival at Harmony Presbyterian Church in Fairfield from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
–Fall Festival at Calvary Baptist in Fairfield from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. More the 15 different kids games, cupcake walk, fresh popcorn and lemonade, and lots of candy.

THURS., OCT 28TH
–The Good Witch Ride with Fairfield Chamber beginning at 5:00 p.m. from Freestone County Courthouse. Wear your good witch costume and bring a couple bags of candy and join us to spread happiness around our (Fair)field. Then, enjoy some witch’s brew after we are done.

FRI., OCT 29TH
–Social Media for Business – Free class beginning at 12 noon by Uplight Digital Marketing Agency, hosted by Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
–Light the Night at New Life Church in Fairfield. FREE family fun including games, give-aways, kids-service, candy, face painting, concessions, and costume contest (Bible characters only). Located at 641 E. Commerce Street.

OCT 29TH-30TH
–Trooper Allen Haunted House – Join us for our 2nd annual haunted house! Bigger, better and SCARIER! Friday and Saturday nights from 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. October 15-31. Purchase advance tickets at https://www.trooperallen.com/event-info/haunted-house-2

SAT., OCT. 30TH
–Teague Parkfest – Car Show, BBQ Cook-off, Volleyball Tournament, Vendors and more!

–4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat hosted by Teague EDC and local businesses. Come out to the 300 block of Elm (empty lot next to hotel) from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. If it rains, event will move to the Teague Community Center.
–Official Night of Trick-or-Treating in the City of Teague from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
–Official Night of Trick-or-Treating in the City of Wortham from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
–5th Annual Brick Street Fall Festival from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in downtown Wortham, Texas. Dress up and come out to enjoy Games, Candy, Popcorn, Sausage Wraps, Water, and Hot Chocolate.

SUN. OCT 31st
–Fall Festival beginning at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Fairfield. FREE hotdogs with the donation of a canned food item for the Fairfield Community Food Pantry. Food, Prizes, Cotton Candy, Carnival Games, and Fun!

SAT., NOV 6TH
–Annual Fall Festival at Caney Baptist Church beginning at 4:30 p.m. Hay Ride, Weenie Roast, S’Mores, and Games galore. All are welcome.

NOV 12TH & 13TH
–Streetman Community-Wide Garage Sale.

SAT., NOV 20TH
–Recycle Day from 8:30 – 10:0 a.m. in Fairfield near the Junior High/High School on Post Oak Road. Metal, Paper, Cardboard, Plastic.
–November Market on Main from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in downtown Teague, Texas. Come snag some awesome goodies for Thanksgiving, from fresh baked pies, salsas, breads, vegetables, meats, honey, all the things your gonna need for the big feast.
–Flippin’ the Bird 5K at W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas. Race starts at 10:00 a.m., Awards Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Early birds receive extra stuffing for $25, special prize for best themed outfit. Register today at www.Texas99.com. –Christmas on the Square – Celebration of Peace, Hope, Love and Joy from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. in downtown Fairfield. Parade with Miss Texas – Mallory Fuller and Santa Claus at 4:00 p.m. Nativity Drama by River of Life at 5:30 ad 6:30 p.m.
