The Friends of Fort Boggy State Park will meet on Wednesday, July 15th, at the American Legion Hall located at 346 Highway 75 North – next door to Centerville Bowling/Family Center.

We will start gathering at 11:30 a.m. for a lite lunch and the meeting will begin at 12 noon.

This meeting is open to the public and we encourage anyone with an interest in Fort Boggy State Park to come and join us.

In addition to general business, an update will be provided on park programs, activities and upcoming outreach efforts.

Please note that our annual Membership and Kid Fish Sponsorship Drives began on July 1st. There will be forms available for both of these at the meeting as well as a report on our booth at the annual Leon County Funtier Days.

The Friends of Fort Boggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and assisting Fort Boggy State Park in its mission of connecting youth and families to the great outdoors.

Through various educational programs we strive to develop stewards of our natural resources for future generations to come.
