AWARDS
Special awards of appreciation were given during the Livestock Sale this year.

One presented to the McSwane Family was dedicated to Frederica & W.R. McSwane, founders of the Freestone County 4-H Club.

“They never backed down from any task or chore,” shared Clint Minchew, President of the Freestone County Fair Association. “They laid the groundwork for what the Freestone County Fair is today.”

Another plaque was awarded to Buzz Russell.

“This award is given because of his untold number of unselfish acts of service, dedicated wholly to the promotion and encouragement of the Youth of Freestone County,” says Minchew. “To be the success that you are, your efforts have to come from the heart. Thanks Buzz!”
