Giving a fist bump to a Fellowship of Christian Athlete (FCA) member at Fairfield Junior High is Pastor Ken Pruitt of First Baptist Church. The 100-strong group meets on Friday mornings before school. Last week, Pastor Ken was invited to speak on a verse from the book of Joshua that states, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged…” Students were reminded that the verse came with a promise that God would be with them where ever they go, allowing them to, in fact, be strong and courageous.
