On January 13, 2023 The Wortham Garden Club met at The Old Gin in Wortham for our monthly meeting & have lunch together.
We discussed continuing to support the Animal Shelter & our plans to help Hope Cafe with funds to help them with senior citizen lunches downtown Wortham.
We also give two scholarships every year to senior graduates as they make plans to further their educations.
In the Spring, we look forward to going to BoBo’s Nursery in Buffalo to pick out pretty flowers to plant in the pots downtown. We also look at flowers for ourselves to plant in our yards at home.
We had several guests that joined us. We really enjoyed having them. We do have fun but we also do a lot of good for such a small group of older ladies.
