SIGNING THE OFFICIAL PAPERS to attend Cedar Valley College with a sports scholarship is Wortham High School’s star volleyball player, Kayla Lansford on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Fellow students also sang “Happy Birthday” to the Senior Lady Bulldog, as this was her 18th birthday.
Kayla was joined for the signing ceremony by her parents, Jennifer and Tracy Lansford, WHS Volleyball Coach, DeAnna Whaley, and CVC Senior Head Volleyball Coach, Isabel Almendarez. The CVC Suns play the Metro Athletic Conference under NCJAA – Division III.
Kayla is an animal lover. She plans to start out as a vet tech and work her way to veterinarian.
