Wortham’s Culinary and FFA students combined together to send 2 teams to the Texas High School Bar-B-Que Cook-Off in Burnet, Texas on Saturday, April 29th. There were 28 teams that participated in the competition.
The BackSTRAP Boys include James Davidson (FFA/AG teacher), E.J. Salazar, Dylan Martin, Gage Harris, Connor Rice and Anthony Perez.
The SPICE Gang: Amy Jo Miller (Culinary teacher), Logan Salisbury, Ethan Perez, Faythe Hutson, Katy Barker and Kayla Lansford.
Awards earned are as follows:

Beans- 7th place
Chicken- 6th place
Ribs- 15th place
–The SPICE Gang:
Chefs Choice- 13th place
Chicken- 4th place
Ribs- 3rd place
Brisket- 12th place
