WITHIN JUST TWO WEEKS, Teague Elementary students brought in 15,271 plastic bottles to be recycled. The Teague High School student council environmental committee sponsored the plastic bottle collection project for Earth Day 2017. StuCo committee members loaded all of the bottles and took them to the Groesbeck Recycling Center. Mrs. Welch’s second grade class won a pizza party for collecting 2,207 bottles.
