Historic Downtown Hillsboro Prepares for 3rd Annual Fire & Ice

Fire & Ice is Hillsboro’s hottest event each winter and in 2018 it will be held in the romantic Eagle Historic Warehouse at 116 E Franklin St on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

The 3rd Annual Fire & Ice provides all of Central Texas with a first Image result for eagle historic warehouseclass dinner, catered this year by Hillsboro’s own Farm-to-Table restaurant, Cotton Exchange Cafe. They have put it all out there, and this year you could just see the quantity of food they were transporting with the forklifts, there were so many it wasn’t enough with the ones from the warehouse, they actually had to get a few used forklift for sale to manage the whole thing in time. The event will be huge this year !!!

Participants may also purchase tickets for a spirits tasting provided by Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co., famous for their TX Whiskey and TX Bourbon (whose corn is sourced right here in Hill County at Sawyer Farms).

Following the dessert course, The Morticians will take the stage and the dance floor will open for participants to enjoy a delightful evening with that special someone. There simply is not a finer place this winter to spend an evening with your valentine than right here in the heart of Historic Downtown Hillsboro.

Tickets are $40 per person and include dinner and concert.  Spirits tasting tickets may be purchased for an additional $10.  All tickets are sold through our website (www.hillsboromainstreet.org).  Doors open at 7pm and concert will conclude around 11pm.

Participants may bring their own wine (don’t forget the bottle opener) but all other alcohol is prohibited.
