The weekly Lake Fairfield Tuesday Night Bass Tournament was held on May 7th with fourteen fishermen participating. Windy conditions were present throughout the evening’s competition but eight anglers brought fish to the scales.

Taking first place and the $168 top prize was Shane Pate with a 7.28 pound fish.

Jeff Karr grabbed second place money of $112 with his 4.63 pound largemouth.

Entry fee for the 2019 events is $20 per person with 100% of the entry fees being paid back to the winning fishermen. Payout on a field of 4-10 entries is 100% of the pot for first place. A field of 11-20 participants will pay two places with a 60%/40% payout for first and second place bass. When 21 or more anglers participate, three places will be paid with a 50%/30%/20% payout for the top three heaviest fish.

The weekly Tuesday night tournament is conducted out of the front boat ramp at Lake Fairfield. Registration is taken from 5:00 to 5:25 p.m. Tournament hours are 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Paul Cobb at 903-879-0422.
