We are so pleased to welcome back one of our own, Nicole S., to assist The ‘Times’ as Content Manager.
It has been more than three years since we have been putting out a weekly newspaper without the assistance of a full-time reporter.
That has only been possible with contributions from the community, our freelance photographers, and my office manager, Natalia, for stepping in to take pictures and gather information.
I can tell you that having an additional person who can take over the responsibility of managing our news content has taken off a load of pressure for me, especially. To have this support again is a much-needed relief.
My hope is that Freestone County Times can do an even better job of covering the news in our community.
And, we expect to experience more time and energy to catch those inevitable mistakes before going to press.
