The Freestone and Leon County offices of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be hosting a workshop focused on Trees and Tree Care. This workshop will be held via the Zoom platform on Tuesday, June 29, from 6-7 pm.
The speakers for this program will be Leon County Master Gardeners Charlene Manning, Greg Pitts and Cynthia Torno. These three Master Gardener volunteers have years of experience under their belt and are working towards achieving their Advance Tree certification. Topics that will be covered during this presentation will include tree identification, planting and care of a tree, and disease diagnosis and control
