The Fairfield Eagle boys and girls golf teams will be headed to the Region III Tournament later this month with a second place finish in the district tournament.
The girls’ competitors are Allie Hughes (District Champion-Center),
Zada Pjetrovic, Addison Shipley, Hadassah Owen, and Cariss Capps.
Allie Hughes fired at 83 in the first round and an 88 in round two to take the top spot in the district tournament for the third consecutive year.
Kaitlyn Youree was a distant second, but the Franklin team did earn the top spot in the team competition.
Franklin advances to the regional golf tournament as the boys’ champion.
