What’s the County Fair without the Rodeo?

  Fair-goers will enjoy three nights of rodeo excitement this week during the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo taking place at the fairgrounds in Fairfield on June 10-15, 2019.

  Wednesday night, June 12th will be the Youth Rodeo in Memory of Yates Manahan beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Rodeo Arena.

  Admission is $7 for Adults, $3 for kids.

  On tap for the evening will be the following competitions:

–Goat Ribbon Pulling

–Goat Tying

–Cloverleaf Barrels

–Pole Bending

–Breakaway Roping

–Tiedown

–Ribbon Roping

–Chute Dogging

–Jackpot Team Roping

  This year there is mail-in ONLY for participants.  NO walk up entries for the rodeo.

  All Around Buckles will be awarded to High Point In-County Girl and Boy and will include scholarships.  Sponsor for this event is RVOS and Rollo Insurance.

  Two performances of the CPRA, UPRA Rodeos are set for Friday evening, June 14th and Saturday evening, June 15th; both nights beginning at 8 p.m. at the rodeo arena in Fairfield.

  Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for youth.

  Mutton Busting, sponsored by Randy Turner Services, will also take place on Friday & Saturday Nights with 20 kids selected each night. This competition begins at 7:00 p.m. nightly.
