The Waco Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation Helps Wortham’s Local Longbotham Lodge No. 428 with major repairs.
Waco Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation is “serving today-creating a better tomorrow” in many different ways:
–Thanksgiving Dinner-Meals on wheels,
–Widows and wives programs,
–The Scottish Rite UT Dormitory,
–Scottish Rite Hospital for Children,
The Foundation serves with other Special Projects, such as helping Longbotham Masonic Lodge No. 428 through a major Repair.
The Foundation was able to match funds raised by Wortham and District 22 Members for needed repairs to Longbotham Lodge’s roof and interior due to persistent leaking problems.
Lodge members are able to continue to operate in Wortham providing students Scholarships as well as local support through Masonic Programs to Wortham children.
