Teague man, Eric Brandon Jarvis, 31, has been given a sentenced to time in prison following a probation revocation hearing last week.

In 2013, Jarvis was put on probation for charging two police officers with a knife when they responded to a call of an aggravated assault on a family member.

One officer was forced to discharge his service weapon to stop Jarvis’s attack.

Due to this incident, Jarvis was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon of a Public Servant x2 and Aggravated Assault of a Family Member w/Weapon.

During the revocation hearing, Jarvis was sentenced to 20 years on each count against public servants and 10 years for assault on the family member.
