The Fairfield Library will be starting their second month of the 2022 Summer Reading Program with lots of activities and a cool environment for all. June was a great time and many events are planned for July. The largest turnout in June was on Wednesday the 22nd for the 10:00 “Storytime and Crafts” with 41 kids and 28 adults attending. Storytime is every Wednesday at 10:00 and photos are posted weekly on Facebook @FarifieldTxLibrary. During the Summer guest readers are highlighted.

Also on June 22nd, another 26 tweens and teens plus 19 adults attended the “Crafty Kids” teen event. Guest presenter, Jennifer Kilkenny, taught the participating students how to paint a beautiful palm tree on a canvas. The entire month was filled with various types of activities such as 3-D Printing, Science Camp, Sidewalk Chalk, Movie in the Morning, Splash Time, Kids Bingo, and Book Clubs.
