Summer activities are in full swing at the Fairfield Library.

July continued with events geared towards Pre-K consist of Storytime, with a different guest reader each week, Splash Days, and Movies in the Mornings.  Events mainly for students are Bingo with trivia, 3D Printing Classes, Art Classes, Seed & Bird Feeder Crafts, Teens Coffee @ the Library, Science Days, Girls Tea Party, and a Pokémon & Video Game day. Come by the library and pick up a calendar for days and times of these events. The calendar can also be found on-line here: https://www.fairfieldtxlibrary.org/events-calendar

Current adult programs will continue through the summer.  The Fiber Arts Class is every Friday 10-12am (students are welcome when accompanied by an adult), Story Writing with Chris Rogers on Wednesdays at 2pm, and Medicare Classes are on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 12pm.

The Texas Snakes and More program will return to the library on July 7th at 5pm, for all ages. This event was a huge success last summer and we are looking forward to sharing it with you again! Mr. Clint Pustejovsky’s passion for snakes started at a young age and he now enjoys informing others about them as well.

The Fairfield Library is looking to fill an open Board Member seat. If you are interested in serving in this capacity please see the requirements at the following link by clicking on “Join the Library Board” for details. https://www.fairfieldtxlibrary.org/support-the-library
