Spring is the time for cleaning out the closet or garage and making a little money off our unwanted stuff.
Thankfully, city wide garage sales are being planned in Freestone County that will help with that.
Garage Sales
Southside of Richland Chamber Lake will be hosting their annual Community Care Club HUGE garage sale. If you would like to donate your stuff to the sale, drop-off day is Friday, April 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Southern Oaks Volunteer Fire Department (located north of the Shell station on FM 416.
Funds raised through the sale will go toward food giveaways and scholarships for area students.

Teague City Wide Garage Sale will be Saturday, May 22nd. Contact the Teague Chronicle newspaper to include your address.
Wortham City Wide Garage Sale will also be held Saturday, May 22nd. No permits are required to participate, and participants will choose their own hours.
Clean Up
The City of Fairfield will host their annual City Wide Clean Up from April 19-24, 2021. Contact City Hall at 903-389-2633 for a FREE pass to enter the City Dump.
