The Six White Horses have been a Hardin-Simmons University tradition since the 1930’s. Beginning as a color guard for the famous Cowboy Band and soon evolved into an elite riding unit. They perform a routine at rodeos all over Texas and have also traveled throughout the country.

The Six White Horses are most famous for riding in parades and have been featured in Presidential Inaugural ceremonies since 1941. As a service to the community, the horses make annual trips to elementary schools, churches, and nursing homes. Thousands of kids get the chance to ride a white horse each year.
