UPDATE: The .5K has been postponed to a later date due to the low number of participation. Organizers are going to schedule this even at a later time and hope you can join us for 1,637 feet of fun!
World-renowned .5K Coach, Ed Found (above), has teamed up with FISD Education Foundation to help train for their upcoming fundraiser.
Have you ever wanted to be a super fit, premier, award winning runner but don’t have the time?
Well, here is your chance!
The Fairfield ISD Education Foundation will be hosting Fairfield’s first ever .5K.
Yes, you read that correct, a .5K, 545 yards or 1,637 ft.
This is “THE RUN FOR THOSE THAT DON’T.”
The .5K will be held on November 17, 2018 in downtown Fairfield at 10:30 a.m. The event will be surrounded by local vendors, food, games, contest and more.
There are several levels of race entry, including a VIP option for those who just don’t have the time to train for this grueling .5K.
VIP entrants will have access to the VIP area and will be treated to Couch Potato Transportation from the start to the finish line. They will also receive a completion medal.
Cost is $25 for underachievers; $50 for VIP status.
All entrants will receive a backpack, a .5K sticker and an event T-shirt.
