Freestone County and the Heart of Texas Council of Governments would like to remind everyone that all residents of Freestone County can sign up for free Weather Alerts from the Emergency Notification System.
This is especially important during severe weather season.
The Emergency Notification System (ENS) is a key tool in our efforts to warn the public quickly when danger is close. The system allows the first responders to quickly send out an emergency alert to residents in any affected geographic area in the County.
