Santa Claus will be in town this Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Green Barn Civic Center.

Come out in your pajamas and enjoy a pancake Breakfast with Santa, along with crafts, fun and face painting.

This is a come-and-go event from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

If cars and barbeque are more your style, head east to Butler for the Country Connections Car Show and A-Masters Cook-Off.

Parade for the Car Show will begin at 10:00 a.m. Judging for the Cook-Off starts at 2:00 p.m.

Later in the evening, head to Twisted Vines Event Center in Fairfield for the annual Freestone County Game Management Association Banquet.

This group promotes landowner and hunter education as they seek to preserve ad manage wildlife in Freestone County for future generations.

Always a packed event, the annual banquet includes a meal, annual membership, and drawing for three different guns. Tickets are $25 per person.

Other drawings include 50-plus Guns, Deer Feeder, Deer Corn, Icehole Coolers, Bumper Pull Trailer, Women’s table, and many more hunting items.
