The 2019 Quad County Hay Show will be held November 25th at the Anderson County Annex in Palestine, Texas.
This show includes Anderson, Freestone, Limestone and Leon counties.
Producers from each county can submit hay samples to their Extension Office.
Cost is $5 per sample; ¼ feed sack of hay is needed per sample.
Make sure to tag each sample with name, phone number, what cutting and place or meadow the sample came from.
Deadline for submitting samples is Tuesday, November 5th.
Even if not entering the hay show, all are encouraged to attend this educational program.
Topics to be discussed are Sprayer Calibration and Hay Quality.
Speakers include Darren Rozell – Rozell Sprayer Manufacturing of Tyler; Truman Lamb – Anderson County Extension Agent; and Richard Parris – Leon County Extension Agent.
Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25th. Meal will be severed at 5:30 p.m.; Program will start at 6:00 p.m.
Attendees are asked to R.S.V.P. by Thursday, November 21st to Anderson County Extension Office at 903-723-3735.
One CEU-General will be awarded to those with a TDA Chemical Applicators License.
The Anderson County Annex is located at 703 N. Mallard Street in Palestine, Texas.
