Salado Legends spotlights two Legend “come-backs” this week! Ten years ago, these two young men were only 5 and 8 years old. Their mother and father would take them to rehearsals for Salado Legends, and they became one of the cutest parts of the musical. Families participating in this outdoor musical drama, often are reminiscent of the days when they participated in a healthy and educational summer experience of Salado Legends. The performing arts offer everyone a chance to grow and learn about many aspects of people and lifestyles.

Benjamin Kilkenny is only 15 years old. He is a sophomore in high school and is active in theater.

His brother, Jeremy is 18 years old and has graduated from Fairfield High School and loves theater and music. He has learned how to play a guitar, and entertainment happens to be one of the best things these two gentlemen do!

This year’s cast of Salado Legends will amaze the audience with acting and singing abilities found in all of the ages that perform. Benjamin has one of the lead roles as Cameron McDougal. “Cam” courts a young lady, Sadie Lou, and becomes a soldier in the civil war. The Civil War scene is compelling, and the audience will soon see that both the Union and the Confederate soldiers sacrificed too many to claim victory.
Jeremy Kilkenny plays the role of a Salado cowboy. He is on stage for many scenes and the young ladies in the audience will be keeping their eye on this handsome young man.
