Roland Brackens, 60, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his residence. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Capps Memorial Chapel followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.
Roland was born October 16, 1961 in Fairfield to parents Laverne Henry Brackens and Connie Lee Brackens, Sr. Roland was a 1981 graduate of Fairfield High School and a retired plumber. In addition to his grandparents and father he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mcclenon Brackens and Loftin Brackens; a nephew, Michael Dwyane Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Laverne Brackens; two brothers, Freddie and Roy Lee Brackens both of Fairfield; three sisters, Sherry Byrd and husband Curtis of Fairfield; Lillie Mays of Fairfield; Betsy Johnson of Fairfield; a niece, Tanika Johnson.
