We are Rockin’ Fairfield!
Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is painting rocks to hide in Fairfield to spread some cheer and brighten someone’s day!
Please join us. Just follow these four steps and have some Rockin’ Fun!
–Step one-pick a rock (Please DO NOT take rocks from public or private landscapes)
–Step two-paint it. Use Acrylic Paint and be sure to put on the back #ROCKINFAIRFIELD
–Step three-put a clear sealant on it
–Step four-come to Fairfield to hide your rock
The Chamber and community will hide all the rocks around town.
Take a selfie with the rock you find. Upload the picture to the Chamber of Commerce Facebook page (@FairfieldTXChamber) with the hashtag #ROCKINFAIRFIELD.
For each rock selfie you post and tag, your name will be entered into the drawing for awesome prizes! All photos can be shared.
Please remember to Follow all traffic and pedestrian laws and be respectful of landscaping and properties while hunting and hiding. Use good judgement and please watch your children. Be aware you are outdoors, Nature happens.
Important Rules to Follow:
1. Do not hide rocks in dangerous places. Please use common sense to keep our community safe,
2. Place them so that they do not interfere with mowers and weed trimmers (Projectiles hurt),
3. Get permission before placing them inside stores, places of business or private property,
4. DO NOT place rocks inside cemeteries,
5. Rocks reflect the opinions and attitudes of the individual artist and not the Chamber.
