The resignation of Fairfield ISD Superintendent Dr. Jason Adams was accepted last week by the Board of Trustees during a Special Called meeting on Tuesday, October, 10, 2023.
“It has been a privilege and honor to serve Fairfield ISD,” reads a letter from Dr. Adams addressed that same day. “I am tendering my resignation as superintendent effective October 20, 2023. Thank you for the opportunity, God bless, and Go Eagles!”
Adams began his tenure with Fairfield ISD in March of 2019.
On the agenda for the FISD Regular Meeting on Monday, October 16th is recognition of Interim Superintendent Bill Boyd.
