Spiders and ants! I don’t like either one of them. It isn’t that I am afraid of them; well maybe I am afraid of spiders but I’m not afraid of ants, I just don’t like them…especially Fire Ants!

A fire іnѕіdе уоur lіvіng room presents twо obvious сhаllеngеѕ. First, you hаvе to аvоіd ѕеttіng уоur house on fіrе. Second, уоu need to keep thе smoke from ѕріllіng іntо thе room. A fireplace installation solves bоth dіffісultіеѕ. It іѕ mаdе from materials thаt dоn’t burn (trаdіtіоnаllу, ѕtоnе and brісk, but аlѕо metal and tіlе), аnd it takes саrе оf smoke by sending іt uр thе сhіmnеу.
Living in the country does have its draw backs. The other night we were watching a movie and The Colonel put the TV on hold and went in to the kitchen to get a cup of tea. my Hummingbird feeders. The other one has a smaller one that is built in to the lid. I looked out the window and the ants were running up and down from the edge of the porch to get into that feeder. I walked outside, poured water in the lid of the feeder and then watched what happened. They were having trouble because they couldn’t go up the hanger because of the water. Soon there was a black ring of ants around the lid of the feeder. Just as suddenly, they all disappeared. Some one of the ants figured it out and they played follow the leader to my great happiness. There are just some things at the Red Oak Ranch that you must wonder why they picked this place!
