We drove in just in time for the storm to hit! The wind was blowing the rain so fast and hard that I wondered if it would be blown away and not get any water to the trees and yard. But of course, they all got water. I think this is the first time our weather alert radio called it right with saying the wind would be blowing at 60 miles per hour.

The cows rushed to get out of the wind and rain. Any babies they might have had, just followed any cow or bull to the place they had picked out to get out of the storm. They are smart about some things.

I am hoping that there was enough rain that the Copperhead snake that is making a presence known went underground and stays there. I walked out of the door, going to the truck when I saw the snake laying in the yard. He has been up on the Sun Porch also. I know he has friends or family just waiting for us to come outside. We were told the house was built on Copperhead Hill.
