I really like Day Light Saving Time because we can get so many things done. However, I don’t care much for it when it is cold as it has been forever (it seems like). I must be old as I don’t take the cold very well. My one son and family live in Midland. I really thought they were probably having good weather with sun shining and all of that. Well, I talked with them yesterday and they were expecting snow today! So, my plan to pay them a visit went up in the smoke from the fire I lit trying to stay warm….not really.

The tree limbs are still falling, it is still too cold to work out early in the morning and the bill from the electric company is going sky-high. I put Sundance up this past week when I heard we were going to have rain, ice, and cold weather. She did not like it but she did change her mind about it when I let her out the next day.

My roses are blooming and even though we had a frost last night, you couldn’t tell it. They were a great picture and nothing was wilted. I am sure summer is coming just hoping it comes soon. The Red Oak Ranch has lost enough limbs!
