Graveside services for Randall Ruel (Randy) Turner, 68, were held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Jerry Don McLeod officiated.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at his residence in Streetman.
Randy was born on December 21, 1952 in Teague to Guy Turner and Wanda Lopez Turner. He was the first born of three brothers. Randy attended Teague schools and was a proud graduate of Teague Class of 1972. He married Kay Daniel in 1973 and then again in 1988. Through the years Randy held down many jobs and traveled many places. He worked both as a pipeline operator and in offshore drilling. Randy decided to settle down and start a family business with his son Jason; it was formally known as Turner Services. That business grew into his current business known as Randy Turner Services (2005). He was known by many for his quick wit, his boundless personality, and his huge heart.
Randy is survived by his wife, Kay Turner of Streetman; his mother, Wanda Holden of Fairfield; four children, Kayla Tucker & husband Chris of Teague, Chad Archibald & wife JoDee of China Spring, Tina Williams & husband Jason of Fairfield, and Byron Turner of Streetman; eight grandchildren, Clint Davis, Clayton Davis, Chance Sullivan, Dakota Archibald, Chase Archibald, Brady Williams, Logan Williams, and Phoenix Turner; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny Clyde Turner; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Randall Jason Turner; one brother, Andy Turner; and his father, Guy Turner.
