Nearly 1 in 4 Texans are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

As of Saturday, April 24th, 10.6 million Texas have received at least one dose, and 7.2 million are fully vaccinated.

Those eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in Texas include everyone age 16 and older.

Under advisory of the CDC, vaccine providers can resume giving doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This manufacturer’s vaccine was temporarily halted due to blood clotting risks associated with the shot.
