Our neighbors in the panhandle are in desperate need. Many have lost everything they had. Our focus is to help them with their livestock needs.

Immediate needs include hay, animal feeds, and fencing materials.

Here are some ways YOU can help:

–If you have any hay you can spare, even if it is only a few bales, please drop them off at Capps Feed Store in Fairfield. They have trucks available to deliver to those in need. If you have a truckload, they can arrange a pick-up at your hay pen.

–If you would like to purchase animal fees and/or fencing materials, they will truck it to them.

–Cash can be dropped off at Capps Feed Store and they will deliver it on one of the loads.

–Checks can be mailed to: Canadian Volunteer Fire Department, State Ranching Wildfire Relief Fund, PO Box 300, Canadian, TX 79014.

–Venmo donations can be made to venmo.com/u/firerelieffund.

These are real people with real needs. Let’s act and do what we can to help.

Remember the widow’s mite.
