SUNDAY

Gospel singer Robin Gibson from Ennis, Texas, will be performing a concert of contemporary, traditional and country gospel songs, Sunday, April 29, as part of Lakeside United Methodist’s “Fifth Sunday Sing” series.  The concert begins at 6:15 pm and will last about an hour.

“Everyone is invited to attend this intimate concert that includes beautiful renditions of familiar songs and a few new favorites as performed by Ms. Gibson,” said Mary Schutz, coordinator for this concert. “Instead of an admission fee for this professional event, guests are asked to bring a few items of food for our Food Bank ministry.”

Robin sings at small and large churches, various convention events, PRCA Rodeos, university sporting events, state fairs and evangelical outreach events.

“My love for the Lord and music has always culminated in an opportunity to edify the church and reach people in the name of Jesus,” said Gibson. “I’m just embarking on this new aspect of my music career—performing for churches in the Ennis/Corsicana area—and I’m looking forward to meeting all the folks who live in the southside Richland Chambers Lake area!”

Lakeside Methodist Church is located at 515 FM 416, about 12 miles east of Streetman and about four miles west of the 488/416 intersection.  All fans of gospel music are invited to join the Lakeside Church family for this inspirational event.  For more information or directions, call Mary at 903-389-7586.
