Our area, along with many others, has been getting several scam calls and/or text messaging scams stating you have an unpaid traffic citation or violation, or you have a warrant that needs to be taken care of.
DO NOT REPLY OR ENTER INTO ANY TYPE OF CONVERSATION WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!
No one is going to reach out by telephone wanting to discuss an unpaid citation or the fact you may have a warrant.
IGNORE, BLOCK, DELETE!!
I get them too, and they can’t hurt you unless you provide them with your personal information.
