In observing politics these days, a glaring question came to my mind.
WHO ALL has to be wrong, for Donald Trump to be right?
On election fraud, the claim Trump makes that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him, there have been many investigations and many trials.
For Trump to be right, countless polling places, staffed by election volunteers (we locally have many neighbors we know who staff the voting places on election days), from coast to coast had to be complicit in putting forward incorrect counts.
Those who conducted recounts, including the right-leaning Cyber-Ninjas (in Arizona) and Ken Block hired specifically by Trump to identify fraud, along with Republican supervised recounts in many states, … ALL had to have gotten it wrong … multiple times! Did they get it wrong on purpose, to damage Trump, or thru incompetence, or were they simply unwitting dupes? In any event, they all got it wrong. According to Trump.
60 different trials were held, with Trump trying to make his case that the election was stolen from him. Judges coast to coast, many appointed by Trump himself, ALL found there was insufficient fraud proven to come close to changing the outcome. Trump lost all those cases. Corrupt judges?
Were Trump’s own attorneys either incompetent, or working against him?
Trump claims they ALL got it wrong.
On the basis of his stated belief that the election was “stolen”, Trump embarked on other plans to try to “correct” the election by remaining in power. From sending his followers to storm the Capitol to “Stop the Steal “on certification day, to calling up Republican election officials in many states to see if he could get them to change the results they received from their voters’ precincts, to organizing a “fake elector” scheme to cast out Biden’s electors and thus secure the election for himself, Trump continued to try to nullify the official election results. He claims to have been “cheated” to this day.
Several years have passed, with the opportunity to uncover the evidence of a stolen election available constantly, but no such evidence has ever been found. Trump attorneys frequently promised they “had the goods” to blow the lid off election corruption, or “release the Kraken!” It never happened.
These schemes led to indictments, handed down by D.A.s and Grand Juries, with 4 indictments totaling 91 felony charges. Were ALL the prosecutors and ALL the judges who let these charges move forward and ALL the Grand Juries WRONG? They’d have to be, for Trump to be right.
What about evidence gatherers, providing the proof that Trump may have broken laws? This would include local marshals, branch offices of the FBI, the DOJ, the Attorney General and his deputies, and local Attorneys General pursuing the cases. ALL have to be WRONG, in order for Trump to be right.
So, I have to ask myself: Are thousands and thousands of professionals, nationwide, either corruptly biased against Trump to the point they will all falsify official information about voting? And are all so competent at hiding their corruption so well, that none has ever been discovered?
Are they ALL WRONG? Or is it just possible, that they are all correct, and that it’s just TRUMP and his closest supporters who are wrong … about all his “stolen election” claims. Seriously, which is more likely?
