SAT., MAR 30TH

–Easter Eggstravaganza on the courthouse square in Fairfield from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Easter Egg Hunts, live bunnies, pictures with the Easter Bunny, Pony Carousel, Face Painting, Bubble Station, Crafts, Easter Egg Dyeing, Cup Cake Walk by Fairview Nursing Home, Color Contest winners, and Lemonade Day information.

NOTE: Lemonade Day participants are invited to join Mayor Kenneth Hughes for the Lemonade Day Proclamation Signing at 11:30 a.m. at the Lemonade Day table during this event.

–Mimosa Morning shop local event from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon in downtown Fairfield. Retailers joining the event include Accessories, Etc.; Armadillo Emporium, Brenda’s Closet, Dessert by MommaCakes, Kennedy’s Korner, Pack N Mail, and Southern Bound. Visit for drinks, snacks and sales!

SUN. MAR 31ST

–Easter Service for the community hosted by Round Prairie Baptist Church of Fairfield will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairfield High School Auditorium. Breakfast will be provided. Nursery provided for children 3-years-old or younger.

–Easter Exposition hosted by River of Life Family Worship Center of Fairfield begins with service at 11:00 a.m. at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield. Lunch will be provided following the church service. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 2:00 p.m. There will be more than 20,000 eggs and you could win up to $500 in the hunt. –Community Easter Egg Hunt event at Fairfield City Park beginning at 3:00 p.m. Activities include an egg hunt, music, face painting, and hot dogs with drinks. Donations are being accepted now. To donate, volunteer, or for more information, please contact David Brackens at 903-519-3456.
