We fell further   behind on rainfall for the year with a fairly dry November with only 1.42 inches of rain. We   had only four days with measurable rainfall with a greatest one-day total of 0.64 inch on November 4. All but 0.16 inch fell within the first eight days of the month.

Our total rainfall for the year now stands at 36.81 inches. Normal rainfall through November is 39.84 inches.

Temperature-wise, November continued to cool down with some low temperatures in the mid to upper twenties. Actual low temperature for the month is unavailable. We had a high temperature of 83 degrees on November 6.

Looking ahead to December: December is normally our second coldest month of the year. Expect some freezes and frosty mornings during the month. Our normal rainfall for December is 3.97 inches. We will need a total of 7.00 inches of rain in December to wind up with normal rainfall for the year.

Normal rainfall values currently used were derived from averages over the twenty-year period from 1997 through 2016.
