Dew ISD is making leadership role changes for the 2024-2025 school year.
As readers saw in last week’s edition, Superintendent Darrell Evans announced his retirement to take affect in June of this year. In addition to serving as Superintendent, he also held the title Principal.
Considering his retirement, Dew ISD has decided to split the role into two positions and hired Dew ISD Counselor Kris Staggs as Principal, effective April 9, 2024.
Hired as Interim Superintendent is Keith Boles, who stepped into his role on April 16, 2024.
Both are excited to be serving Dew ISD in their new capacities and can’t wait to see what the new school year will hold.
